Cirsa in the Dominican Republic supports the work of Fundación Tócate in the fight against cancer

Santiago, D.R. – On Thursday, August 28, 2025, at one of its locations in Santiago, the social responsibility program “Unidos Sumamos” presented a check for RD$309,008.96 to Fundación Tócate, an organization that has made a significant impact on the lives of oncology patients in the northern region.

The presentation was made by Nathaly Reyes, Marketing and Customer Service Manager at Cirsa, and received by its president, Mrs. Yasiris Guzmán de Lora.

The contribution will help strengthen the Shelter for Oncology Patients, a space that serves as a refuge and comprehensive support center for those undergoing treatment in Santiago. There, the foundation offers emotional, physical, and spiritual support, while also serving as a meeting point where families find hope in the midst of adversity.

Activities like the well-known “Afternoon Tea” are part of Fundación Tócate’s efforts to raise funds and sustain its work. Today, with the backing of “Unidos Sumamos,” that commitment to being a beacon of light in the fight against cancer is reinforced.
